Uttam R. Gandhi

Uttam. R. Gandhi is one of the Senior-most Solicitor, actively practising in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He has experience of more than 50 years and is considered as authority on Land Laws in Gujarat. He was admitted as a member of The Bombay Incorporated Law Society in the year 1968 securing first position across the Country. He was associated with Messrs Purnanand and Co., Solicitors based at Bombay, from the year 1965 to 1969 after that he started his own practice in the name and style of Messrs Gandhi & Co., Solicitors and Advocates, independently since 1971, in Ahmedabad.

In the year 1976, Sh. Uttam Gandhi was the face to reckon with at the time of repeal of Urban Land Ceiling Act, 1976. He was on panel of GIDC, GSFC, GIIC, Gujarat State Textile Cooperation, Gujarat State Housing Finance Co-operative Society Limited, Gujarat Maritime Board and various other significant Governmental Entities and has also been part of Governmental policy making.

 

He has many feathers to his cap including handling of contentious matters of high value and representing his prestigious cliental before different trial courts, quasi-judicial authorities and the High Court of Gujarat.
